The UK will look at watering down its zero-emission vehicle sales mandate, a win for automakers that have been pushing new Prime Minister Andy Burnham to bring forward a review of the targets.
The government said Friday its sticking to the goal of 2030 for an effective ban on the sale of new combustion-engine vehicles, but is starting a consultation on the targets.
